I am thrilled that you’ve popped in. I must admit I’m a little nervous, yet excited about this new journey. I’ve wanted to create a space where people can exchange ideas for some time. Well, I now have what I wished for. It’s my desire that Ignition is filled with those pieces of information that are interesting, unique and ignite the curiosity button within you. Hopefully when the button is pressed, we can have some fun; challenging current thinking, learning about the “latest and greatest” (and wow, is there a ton of stuff out there) and most importantly sharing opinions between friends.
If your desire matches mine, then don’t hold back; jump in and leave a comment as I would enjoy hearing your side of the story. Kinda like sitting and having a beer on the deck (though a beer would be nice), ready to change the world. Who knows, maybe WE CAN change the world!

Steve and I both worked for Bell Canada in one of our past chapters. Steve, who managed the HR department, was an outstanding advocate for both the company and the people who worked in the company. Needless to say, that takes a lot of balancing to meet both needs successfully, and he is definitely successful.
Steve’s many attributes and talents include optimism (a critical skill in itself); listening; understanding; leadership; initiative; and most importantly, he inspires! He is a forward thinker with the recognition that excellence is a journey; not a destination.
